BOGURA: A local court in Bogura has sentenced a man to death after he was found guilty of raping and subsequently causing the death of a 10-year-old minor girl.

The convicted individual has been identified as Aminul Islam, a resident of Bogura.

According to prosecution and police records, the tragic incident occurred when Aminul forcibly abducted the 10-year-old child and subjected her to severe sexual assault. Following the horrific assault, the victim’s physical condition deteriorated rapidly. She was immediately rushed to a local hospital by family members and locals in a critical state. Despite receiving emergency medical treatment, the young girl succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Following the victim’s death, her family filed a case against Aminul Islam at the local police station. Law enforcement authorities acted swiftly, launching a prompt investigation and arresting Aminul in connection with the crime.

During the court proceedings, the prosecution presented vital physical evidence, medical examination reports, forensic analysis, and witness testimonies that conclusively established Aminul Islam’s direct involvement in the crime.

After evaluating all the evidence and hearing arguments from both sides, the honorable court declared Aminul Islam guilty beyond any reasonable doubt and delivered the verdict sentencing him for the brutal rape and murder of the minor child.
